Some cameras are used to capture reality as it is. Others, to distort and fantasize it – that’s the case of the well-known Lomo cameras. Their plastic lenses, toy shapes and surreal imagery recently won the world by revealing it on it’s most playful form.
Simple, analog, with a discrete look and featuring no high-tech resources, the Lomo were developed in 1914 by the URSS, and nowadays has followers from all over the world. If you’re one of them, send us your creations. The top 50 works will be featured at the website.
How to participate:
– Select as many images as you like among your favorite works;
– Submit them to firstname.lastname@example.org until September 19th;
– Keep an eye on our Top 50, to be disclosed on Monday, September 20th. Your artwork can be featured.
Obs: For proper visualization, the images rather be 680 px wide. All formats are accepted. If you have a personal site, send the URL along with the images for us to include it in the credits.
