It seems like Jennifer Khoshbin really love books, but not like usual readers do. The passion she devotes to their pages comes from the possibility of turning them into actual works of art.
The inventive American artist cuts and pastes in order to shape her sculptures, made out of the most diverse types of publications. Sometimes the illustrations even jump out of the paper sheets, transposing the frontiers of their own magical world.

Khoshbin also uses book’s pages as indispensable work material for her illustrations, adding to her drawings layers and layers of words and images that borrow them a dream-like aesthetics.
