Forgotten for over half a century in an abandoned passage of the subway station in Notting Hill, London, several posters dated from the 1950s were recently discovered by local workers. In good condition and still hanging on the walls of the corridor, the pieces are mostly advertising campaigns, exhibitions and films.
Typical of their time, the pieces are all in strong and bright colors and have cartoon influence. This design relicts they were shot by Mikey Ashworth, who was lucky enough to see them up close. Check out the images below:
